Welcome to V&C Logistics. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and our freight and logistics services. By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided
V&C Logistics provides transport solutions including, but not limited to, container drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), expedited deliveries, and temperature-controlled freight. All services are subject to equipment availability and route conditions.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All freight quotes provided by our dispatch team are based on the specific information you share regarding cargo weight, dimensions, pickup location, and destination. If the actual cargo details differ from what was provided, V&C Logistics reserves the right to adjust the final pricing accordingly.
3. Shipper Responsibilities
As the customer or shipper, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete details about your freight.
- Ensuring all cargo is properly packaged, secured, and ready for transport before our driver arrives.
- Having all necessary paperwork and customs documentation fully prepared for cross-border shipments between Canada and the United States.
4. Transit Times and Delays
We strive to deliver all freight safely and exactly on schedule. However, V&C Logistics is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control. These include extreme weather conditions, traffic accidents, border crossing inspections, or port terminal congestion.
5. Liability and Claims
We treat your cargo with the utmost care and compassion. In the rare event of damage or loss during transit, our liability is strictly limited to standard carrier liability terms. Any claims for damage or missing freight must be reported in writing to our dispatch team within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
